I LOVED working with this bride. She is hilarious and has a laugh that rivals Julia Roberts’. Honestly, I miss her funny emails and hope that she starts some sort of blog one day (please, Holly?).

Holly and Tony’s wedding was gorgeous and Alicia Pyne Photography did a fab job (as always!) of capturing it. Congrats, y’all!!

Joannah & Paul were married at St. Anne Catholic Church at the end of January 2013. Following their ceremony, the couple hosted a reception at the Houston Museum of Natural Science in the Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals. The newlyweds celebrated with friends and family among some of the rarest and most beautiful gems in the world. It is, by far, the most sparkly place in all of Texas!

Paul did a great job making the ribbon wands for the couple’s send-off at the end of the night – yes y’all, he MADE those himself! I’ve already suggested that he should open a store on Etsy.

Jess & Geoff wed at the Alden Hotel in downtown Houston just after Thanksgiving. Her contemporary wedding featured ivory, purple, and GOLD (my latest obsession on pinterest – thanks, Jess!). Jenna at My Happy Lens captured the day beautifully. Special thanks to all of the fab vendors who helped create a beautiful day!

This is Liz.

Growing up, she would tell her mom that when she got married, she wanted to do so under a tree.

Here’s Liz getting married.

I’d say that even as a young girl, Liz had a knack for wedding planning. Wouldn’t you?

Liz looked amazing in a sheath-style gown – absolute perfection!

I’m a HUGE fan of doing a “first look” session!

I loved this ceremony! Liz and Dara wrote their own vows – straight from the heart. Liz read from a piece of paper, and Dara read from his iPhone (soooo him, y’all!). :)

Of course, this next one is my favorite (Dara, you get big points for this!). How sweet!

This is the Sofreh that Dara’s family prepared. It was beautiful.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and played yard games…

…and, found their seats.

Followed by a lot of dancing!

After the cake cutting, Liz and Dara surprised their guests with an ice cream truck!

Jessica and I met in midtown over a year and a half ago for a consultation. I remember being so excited about all of her ideas, her venue… her dress!! Finally, her wedding day is here, and I can’t wait to see it all come together! She and her husband-to-be will tie the knot this afternoon at The Alden, a fab boutique hotel in downtown Houston.

Here are a few photos from their engagement session in College Station. Whoop!
